Diana Miller


Diana discovered her love for yoga in 2002, and knew that the inspiration and deep connection she felt had to be taken further so that she could share her passion with others. She has studied Power Yoga, Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Hatha Yoga and Kundalini. Diana attended many workshops, including those held by Baron Baptiste, Gregor Singleton and Max Strom. She holds her first teachers responsible for her deepest inspirations. Diana is a Certified RYT Yoga Instructor with Yoga Alliance, and followed that training with Angel Bear Yoga Certification so that she can share the benefits of yoga with children.
After spending over 3 years teaching at various studios in Westmoreland County, Diana decided to continue her yoga path by opening her own studio. The intention of Inner Strength is for students to have a safe, fulfilling space to safely learn and grow in their yoga practice. Classes are designed to be challenging, yet not dangerous or taxing on the body. Emphasis is placed on breathing and correct posture to prevent injury or strain.


Diana is thankful for the support of all her teachers and students; she is grateful for the opportunity to assist others on their yoga journey and hopes you will be just as inspired and fulfilled by yoga as she is on a daily basis.


Alice Kemp


 Alice has been practicing yoga since 2006. After just one class she was hooked on that strong, cleansing, healthy feeling! As her years of practice and dedication increased it seemed a natural progression as she became a certified yoga instructor through Yoga Alliance.


Alice is also a Licensed and Nationally Certified Massage Therapist and works part-time at The Agona Center of Wellness. Through her years of Massage Therapy practice in a chiropractic setting it became even more evident that the stretching and strengthening in yoga helps to heal the back and prevent injuries. She believes that by combining the body, mind and spirit it then brings health and healing to an even greater dimension.


As a body and movement enthusiast she makes yoga, biking, swimming, skiing, sailing, or whatever is in season, a happy part of her day. Alice believes in a holistic approach to health and wellness through diet, exercise, and an optimistic outlook toward life.


She is excited for the opportunity to share both her love of yoga and massage therapy at Inner Strength.

Denise Moreno


Denise has been practicing yoga since 2006. In February 2012, she was certified to teach Power Vinyasa Flow yoga, originating from the Baron Baptiste yoga method. She is now a certified RYT Yoga Instructor.


Having worked in the environmental field for over a decade, Denise is committed to bringing both nature and the nurture of the yoga practice together—for the health of the planet, and for all of us as its caretakers. She believes that the cycle of our breath with nature is something that simultaneously sustains us both.

Reconnect yourself with the Earth! Be present, breathe and balance in the wheel of life.



Dave Gregory


“I am not a yoga kind of guy”, are the first words out of Dave’s mouth when approached by his daughter inviting him to a hot yoga class.


From that moment, he was enlightened and eager to bring the satisfaction he felt that day with his daughter to others.


Dave has a background of kickboxing and dancing. He was teaching at Improvement through Movement located in the South Hills. He has a Yoga Fit Certification.


When Dave is not doing yoga, kickboxing, or dancing he enjoys spending time outdoors and rock crawling in his off-road jeep.

Jo Stephenson ERYT


Through the practice of yoga we attune to our highest inner self, connecting us to everything in the universe’. Jo originally trained in the United Kingdom as a Human Movement Specialist and earned a second degree in Social Sciences. She is an experienced yoga teacher continually up- grading her knowledge and taking teacher trainings all over the country and world. She visits India on a frequent basis. She draws inspiration from the everyday world, her friends, her family, and her teachers. One teacher in particular, Raghunath, has for Jo not only opened the door to the real India, allowing her to follow her Dharma but given her insight to the true essence of yoga. 


Jo teaches a powerful vinyasa flow practice. She teaches a physical practice that offers multi level modifications, focuses on the breath, mindfulness and spiritual well being. Jo has always been an avid outdoor enthusiast. She cycles both in the States and Europe, runs off road trails, enjoys hiking, snow boarding, XC skiing, kite boarding and paddle boarding. What is constant throughout all of these activities is her yoga practice. She is mindful of what she puts in and on her body and loves to cook. She has a certificate in Plant based nutrition form Cornell and enjoys sharing this knowledge. She loves to motivate her students towards a healthier lifestyle, both physically and mentally. Jo owns her own private studio Jahnavi Yoga, an invitation, donation based studio giving 100% of the proceeds to local charities and Food for Life Vrindavan.

Lindsay Hirshberg

Lindsay is a RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) certified with Yoga Alliance.  She asks that you join her classes and share the joy she finds while teaching and practicing yoga.  Lindsay has attended many intensive workshops focusing on inversions, balances, meditation, basic asanas, and chakras.  She loves creating a strong Vinyasa class and is always studying yoga.  “I walked into the yoga studio, hoping to find a sustainable form of exercise, I walked out with so much more.”  

Katrina Bielick -Kids Yoga Instructor


Katrina has taught dance lessons for all ages and has worked with children for over 6 years. She is currently a preschool teacher at a local preschool. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in special ed/elementary ed from Slippery Rock. Her passion for shaping young minds lead her to getting certified through Angel Bear Yoga. She is excited to offer the benefits of yoga to kids at Inner Strength. Yoga helps kids to:


  • Develop body awareness.
  • Learn how to use their bodies in a healthy way.
  • Manage stress through breathing, awareness, meditation and healthy movement.
  • Build concentration.
  • Increase their confidence and positive self-image.
  • Feel part of a healthy, non-competitive group.

 Connie Jennings E-RYT (200)


Connie began practicing yoga in 2007 to add variety into her exercise routine. She quickly became passionate about yoga and fully dedicated to her practice. Yoga has completely transformed her mind, body and soul and allowed for self-discovery. She has furthered her vinyasa flow practice over the years through countless hours of classes and workshops from teachers across the country. Connie is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance  and received her certification through Yoga Flow.
Through each breath she aims to inspire her students to advance their practice both on the mat and outside of the classroom. Connie looks forward to guiding other yogis on their journey to find inner strength and peace. Her own practice has shown her how to be a mindful, appreciative person outside of the classroom, and she hopes to show fellow yogis how to do the same.

Sarah McGinnis


Sarah made the decision to teach yoga to teenagers after experiencing the benefit of a regular practice in her own life, and began teaching the students she works with in 2016. She is furthering her practice through YogaFit and in addition to Levels 1 and 2, she has completed Warrior Kids Training for PTSD and childhood trauma.


She hopes to share the peace and stability she has found in yoga with others. 

Haley McTeir


Haley is one training away from her 200 hour RYT through YogaFit/Yoga Alliance. Her teachings are mainly focused on a gentle vinyasa flow focusing on one movement, one breath. Her goal is to share her love of yoga with her students, while creating a safe place to do so.


Her classes focuses on leaving the past behind and maintaining focus on being in the present moment while enduring movement with control of the natural flow of breath. Allowing each yogi the right to uniquely revitalize their mind and body at their own perfect pace, to feel a sense of peace and calm. Her goal is for her students to leave class with the desire to live each day through the Yogafit essence of life; letting go of judgement, competition, expectation, and staying focused on the present moment. With that said, let’s focus on the now and practice quieting the mind as one! 

Edward Dinnen


Edward has been studying and practicing yoga since the 60's.

Throughout his life journey he brings experience from travel, dance, massage, martial arts, qi gong, philosophy, and psychology to his yoga classes.

He is an RYT 200 hour with Yoga Alliance and continuing study to add another 300 hours.

Janet Niethamer


Janet is a career elementary school teacher a certified (200 RYT via YogaFit) yoga instructor. She instantly fell in love with yoga after taking her first class about 12 years ago. A little over a year later she began instructing. Her vast experience as a yoga instructor includes beginners, classrooms of children, high school sports teams, and even pro athletes!


Janet blends balancing, strengthening, and flexibility-improving poses in a fun and friendly format. She includes modifications to make the work harder or easier; you choose what's right for you.

Lindsey Barton


I began my yoga practice with the help of yoga videos in my dorm room in college.  I was drawn to the practice because it helped to calm my mind and ease my stress.  In 2011, I began a regular studio hot yoga practice.  I loved the way I felt after class- cleansed and deeply relaxed. In 2015, I completed my 200hr immersion yoga teacher training with Urban Elements/Yogi Cop in Costa Rica.  I have since completed additional Yoga Alliance approved trainings with Yoga Flow and Rainbow Kids Yoga. Aside from yoga, my interests include world travel, hiking, healthy living, and home improvement projects.
